Behind The Vegan Lens
Growing up in a vegetarian household and later transitioning to a vegan lifestyle has shaped my outlook on life in so many ways. It taught me compassion, empathy and gave me a better appreciation for the interconnections of all living beings. I believe this is why photography became my passion. It is the bridge from my perspective that I wish to share with the outside world. I strive to capture not just images but emotions, stories and moments what resonate with people. I want the world to see animals as I do. My greatest passion lies in documenting the lives of animals, whose stories often go untold. I hope to show their individuality and help the world understand the bond we share with all living beings.
In addition to my focus on animal photography, I love photographing vegan food and helping local vegan restaurants. I love showcasing their beautiful creations and encouraging more sustainable and compassionate ways of living.

I am a OSU Graduate, majoring in Anthropology. I loved and still love learning about human culture and our closest human relatives. I enjoy spending time volunteering at sanctuaries, helping fundraise and plan events. I served on the board at a local sanctuary, running social media pages, developing and implementing fundraising initiatives. I now volunteer with an amazing sanctuary near Cincinnati: Red Oak Animal Rescue owned and run by the amazing Wendy Lake. I love working with local vegan businesses to strengthen relationships between non-profits and the communities they're in.
