Hitting up your local vegfest or traveling this summer? These are my top tips to maximizing your vegan festival experience.
Come prepared
If you're a hardcore vegan foodie like me or a dedicated abillion reviewer, you're going to want to try as many items as you possibly can. Especially, at festivals like Vegandale with vendors from out of state, sometimes it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Okay, maybe that's dramatic, but you get what I'm saying. Bringing a small, portable cooler bag and eco friendly Tupperware is going to be your best friend. Trust me. https://envirosafehome.com has some great options for compostable and biodegradable disposable bowls. This way you don't need to eat everything at once and you can easily tuck it away in a small bag.
Go with friends
Sharing is caring. Sharing means trying more options and have more fun doing so.
Divide and conquer
Lines can be long, so splitting up can cut down on wait times!
Research + Have a game plan
Research and find vendors you're interested in. If I'm going to a local festival I always look for out of state vendors first. Most vendors have their menus posted on IG, before the festival so make sure to check those out! This is super helpful for large festivals like Vegandale that have so many different options.
